Octave chose to support Diabetes UK Scotland with the proceeds from the 2013 concerts. Diabetes UK Scotland is the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes. There are currently 3.8 million people in the UK with diabetes. Diabetes UK helps people manage their diabetes effectively and campaigns to improve the quality of care across the UK’s health services. The charity works to prevent the rising number of people diagnosed with diabetes and funds pioneering research into care, cure and prevention. More information is available at www.diabetes.org.uk.
